I thought for a while that they would look like regular asterias, but one is suddenly covered with fluffs and the other one forgot to grow some on one side.
Nothing really happened the past few months. I think they’ve gotten a tiny bit bigger since last time and the fluffs have spread to the sides. I do only have two left 🙁
This one looks fairly strong, though!
These are all of my Super Kabuto seedlings. They all kind of have their own personality and grow at different speeds. And even though they have been spending an equal amount of time in the sun, only some of them show stress colors.
Some serious rib formation is happening with this one seedling. The rest of them still only have their baby ribs and 5-6 fluffs.
The Asterias seedlings picked up the pace and are developing fluff like never before.
This little frowny face has 4 fluffs and counting. They’re not growing super quick, but slow and steady wins the race.
This little seedling developed its first fluff!
And look at those puffy cheeks.
So far, 4 out of 10 seeds have germinated. The oldest one (left) is a week old and the newest just sent out roots today.
Must. Be. Patient.
