Date palms, 2 months + 1 week
This date sprout is growing fast! And even though it looks fragile and soft, the leaf is stiff as a nail. I wonder when the other seeds will grow their first leaves. Maybe they just decided to grow lots of roots first.

Fed this Venus Flytrap seedling a live gnat larvae
Fed this Venus Flytrap seedling (6 months old Dionaea Muscipula “B52 x B52″) a live gnat larvae and it transformed inside the closed trap while it was digested. What a life.
These traps are only 3 mm long, but fully functional.
