One day I will learn when to repot fast growing caudiciforms. I made the mistake of planting this one in a tall pot and it formed a massive caudex underground, like an iceberg. In an attempt to contain it, I potted it in a round, low pot.
This dude is growing fast. It’s currently rocking a 4 cm caudex and it isn’t even summer yet.
This is probably the end of the growing season for the Ibervillea seedlings. The leaves have started to wilt.
I really like how the caudexes look at the moment, even though they aren’t perfectly round. At 10 months, they’re somewhere between 2-3 cm wide.
