Monilaria moniliformis, 4 years + 7 months old
A lot of my Monilaria died off this summer. I’m not sure exactly what happened. All I have left is this one. It recently woke up from summer dormancy and is sprouting this year’s first bunny ears, so I’ve started to water it again. I’m going to experiment with the fertilizer I use for my Hoyas to see if I can get it to bloom. This year may be my last chance.
Keep it up! I love how you kept us updated from germination to adult bunnies. I just got my first “true leaves” so im excited to see it for myself
Hi there, love your blog and watching the plants over time. I started some bunny ear seeds and they germinated right away but never grew beyond about 1/8” tall. Still look green and happy, just a little stuck. Any ideas what I can do to help them?
Hi Zarina. How old are your seedlings? I think they’ll be okay as long as they stay green. It took a while for mine to take off, too. I’d keep them in a cool room to make sure they don’t go dormant (unless you’re in the Southern Hemisphere).
