I’ve finally gathered the courage and time to try and grow cacti from seed.

I’m hooked!

These are seeds from the adorable Lophophora “Peyote” Williamsii, Astrophytum Myriostigma and Faucaria Trigrina (technically not a cactus, but a mesemb).

After searching for the perfect medium for what seems like forever, I settled with 100% burnt Moler Clay and 3 repurposed plastic cups with a round and see-through lid.

I’m going to have to keep the cacti under a lid for the next couple of months to prevent them from drying out. I’ll treat the Faucaria like my Pleiospilos seedlings when they have germinated and remove the cover after one week.
