Date palms (Phoenix dactylifera), 1 year + 1 month

The date palms have now been separated and have more space to grow. The two smallest seedlings didn’t have much of a root ball because they were planted too close to the bottom of the pot and they were just sticking straight out of the drainage holes. Hopefully they will start to grow a bit faster now.

The big seedling on the right now has three leaves, one of which looks slightly different. If I’m lucky, the next one will be the first one to split and look like an adult leaf. It could happen any moment now!
